Question: Do you see small shows like Strikeforce as a threat to the UFC or good for the UFC?  It seems like every time one of the small shows prosper, Dana shuts it down (Elite XC, Affliction etc).

Answer: As a business man, it is Dana’s job to clinch the market.  I believe that is how he quenches his competitive thirst. Other organizations are good for the fighters and their rights, but I’m not sure what effect they would have on the UFC.  The UFC has done such a good job cornering the market, there would have to be a major shift in fighter contracts.  Even though Strikeforce is able to do a show on Showtime or network television, people have to know the fighters for them to succeed.
